For over 300 years, Kronstadt has been known to people far and wide. Peter the Great founded this town—a fortress and port—in 1704 to protect Saint Petersburg from enemies approaching from the Baltic Sea during the Great Northern War. Boat Trips
The boat trips around Kronshtadt forts with the excursion on board are held during summer period daily. You will learn about the history of the Kronshtadt fortress and forts building, about the Kronshlot, Imperor Alexander I, Peter the Great, Pavel I and the Great Duke Konstantin forts. Depending on the chosen kind of excursion you can land on the Duke Miljutin fort or the Imperor Alexander I fort or just take a round-up trips.
